Tassie Summer Series

NOR Tasmania 2016/17

Attached is the notice of race for the upcoming DF65 Summer Series, Legs 1 and 2 . Last year over 30 boats took part in the series. So why not take a trip down to the Tassie, you will get a warm welcome and some great racing.

NOTICE OF RACE

2016/17 Tasmanian State RG65/DF65 Summer Series

 

  1. Date: Saturday 5th November and Sunday 6th November 2016 (Southern Round)

 

  1. Venue: Risdon Brook Dam (Saturday) and Port Cygnet Yacht Club (Sunday)

 

  1. Host: Risdon Brook Radio Yacht Club and Southern Tasmania Radio Yacht Club

 

  1. Eligibility: The event is open to anyone who holds current Public Liability Insurance (ARYA Members and  MMACA Members hold appropriate insurance)

 

  1. Conditions: The event will be conducted in accordance with ARYA Standard Notice of Race.

 

  1. Times:
  2. Saturday – Registration from 10.30 hrs. Briefing  11.15 hrs.  Racing will start at 11.30 hrs and last  race start no later than 15.50 hrs (allows traveling to the location for intrastate travelers)

Sunday – Registration from 0900 hrs. Briefing  0945 hrs.  Racing will start at 10.00hrs           and last  race start no later than 1450 hrs (allows traveling home for intrastate             travelers)

Trophies:

Certificates will be awarded to the first three places.

Trophies to be awarded at the conclusion of the Summer Series for top three places in both RG65 and DF65 Classes. DF65 Class eligible for RG65 awards

Liabilities: All those entering do so at their own risk and responsibility. By entering this event it is deemed:-       that you accept the conditions outlined in section 14 of the ARYA standard Notice of Race.

 Entrants who choose to forward their Entry Form to the club email address MUST, on the same day, pay their entry fee into the RBRYC bank account and advise by email that this has occurred.
